European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Praktiker Romania, a local DIY network remaining after the bankruptcy of the German group, is to create 400 jobs by the end of 2014. As reported, the company returns to profit and resumes expansion. The plan entails the opening of two new stores in Giurgiu and Târgu-Jiu in September and October 2014, and the creation of 400 jobs due to increased sales.
