Description
The automotive supplier Faurecia has announced to cut 128 positions in its plant at Nompatelize (Vosges). Last year Faurecia has announced a worldwide restructuring of its car seats manufacturing activities which is the main activity of Nompatelizes' plant (the group has already closed, last December, a plant in Canada).
The plant is specialised in the manufacturing of car seats. As reported, the job reduction measure is due to a decreasing demand and for that reason about half of the workforce was on short-time working the last months. The management will support voluntary departures.
