European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ericsson Telecommunications Romania, subsidiary of the Swedish ICT solutions provider, is to create 200 jobs in its ICT Bucharest centre by the end of 2014. Another 300 new jobs are announced also for 2015.
The Bucharest centre plans to enlarge its team of 2,800 professionals with an additional 300 people in order to expand its service offering for television and media companies. This summer, Ericsson signed a seven year contract with Romtelecom and Cosmote, now part of Telekom Romania, concerning the provision of integrated support services in the area of network operation and maintenance.
In addition to Romanian customers, the ICT local centre collaborates with 34 companies in Europe, Africa, Middle East and North America.
