European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Sociedad Espanola de Montajes Industriales (SEMI) has announced its intention to apply for a collective dismissals procedure affecting 284 employees. In addition, the sources mention that the company wants to modify working conditions such as working time and wages. The consultation process with the unions will start on 1 December 2014. The industrial section of the trade union CCOO rejects the measure, bearing in mind that the company recorded profits in 2013.
SEMI is part of the industrial section of the construction company ACS.
