European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Faurecia Seating Talmaciu, subsidiary of the French automotive parts manufacturer, will build a new factory in Ostroveni industrial park (Valcea County) and will create 1,500 jobs in 2015. The company is already present in Valcea County, employing about 300 people. Its investment is planned to become operational in autumn 2015.
In Romania, Faurecia has three factories in Pitesti, Craiova and Talmaciu and manufactures car seats, interior systems and emissions control systems.
