Description
The Japanese pharmaceutical company Takeda is closing its production department in Molenbeek. 109 employees will lose their jobs. The company indicates it has gone through two difficult years and has to rationalize its production network. Production is likely to be relocated to the group's other European plants. Takeda also indicates that strict European rules on pharmaceutical production are a factor in its decision. The sales department of the company is not part of the reorganization, so 150 commercial / sales employees will keep their jobs.
