Description
Noelke, German manufacturer of meat products, is to cut 144 out of 350 jobs. Moreover, 56 marginally employed staff will be given notice. The company is going to be acquired by the Zur-Muehlen Group.
To reduce staff, the company will close the production plant of Menzefricke and the site in Wusterhausen and intends to focus on the main plant in Versmold in the next years where some jobs in the administrational departmend will also be affected by the job reduction measures. According to the management, the job reduction is the only way for the company to remain competitive.
