European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The commercial court of Rennes has decided the immediate liquidation of Noël Beauvais in Vitré (Ille-et-Vilaine), a subsidiary of the shoes manufacturer Chaussure Noël. The closure will result in the dismissal of 30 employees. Furthermore, the management of the company has announced a reorganisation of other sites in France that employ 185 people. The company has presented a social plan to cut between 80 and 100 jobs, mainly in Vitré where 70 positions will be cut.
