Description
Perfume and cosmetics retail chain Bodybell has proposed a labour force adjustment affecting 1000 employees (around 50% of its entire workforce) and 123 stores located in different regions (Andalusia, Castilla la Mancha, Valencia, Canary Island, Murcia and Castilla y León). The dismissals will also affect the central offices and warehouses.
The process is expected to start as of 13 May. Since workers do not have any legal form of employee representation (for example works council), they shall form a bargaining commission made up of maximum 13 people in order to discuss the measures and the dismissal conditions (severance pay, outplacement measures, etc.).
