European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Salini Impregilo, an Italian construction group specialised in major infrastructure projects and civil engineering, has announced plans to create 2,500 jobs worldwide in 2015, the majority of which will be concentrated in Italy.
Of these, 100 will be positions for recent graduates in engineering. The 2,500 new jobs are part of a wider programme of expansion announced by the firm in 2014 which foresees the creation of 15,000 new jobs in four years up to 2018.
Salini Impregilo operates over 50 countries worldwide and has around 34,000 employees. It is foreseen that the new jobs will be created across the various sites of operation of the firm worldwide, and range from roles in production to administration and management.
