Description
Uber Ireland is planning on creating 150 jobs by the end of 2015 and 300 jobs when fully operational at its new offices in Limerick. The company which provides transportation network services, notably through networks of freelance taxi-drivers, is establishing a European customer services hub in Limerick which will cater for customers in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. It is the company's first such hub outside the US. The 4 m euro investment benefits from support from the IDA Ireland [the Industrial Development Authority]. The jobs are in customer service as well as administrative support, managerial jobs and financial roles. The company also plans to set up operations in other cities in Ireland. Uber is headquartered in San Francisco.
