The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Orange Poland (former TP — Polish Telecom) has informed us about the plans to cut 1,500 jobs via a voluntary dismissal programme. The source reports that the restructuring programme might cover even more workers as another company, Arteria, might also undertake Orange subsidiary Contact Centre (CC), at which up to 1,000 people are employed. Some of its IT staff may be transferred to the Indian company Wipro.
