European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
At the request of the Flemish media minister, the management of the Flemish public radio and television broadcaster VRT has presented a restructuring plan which includes the outsourcing of support services such as catering, security, nursery / creche and IT services. This will lead to the loss of 287 jobs, of which 158 will be compulsory.
