Description
Finnish paints and coatings company Tikkurila is starting employer-employee negotiations and is planning to lay off around 100 workers. The company currently employs around 600 people and the negotiations n potentially affect all staff categories. Staff reductions are planned due to decreased sales volumes in Finland and Russia (approximately half of the company's turnover comes from exports).
ERM reports previous restructuring at Tikkurila in 2011 and 2009.
Update 2015-11-08: Negotiations have ended and the final number of redundancies is 41.
