European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The European weapons manufacturer MBDA has announced major hiring plans in France and the United Kingdom. MBDA will hire 550 employees in France by the end of 2016, a net increase of its French workforce of 220 or 5 per cent. Details of the hiring plans in the UK are expected to be announced to the UK unions shortly. The announcement comes after MBDA won several major international contracts including a EUR 410 mn contract to supply missiles to the Royal Air Force.
