European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Spanish metallurgical firm Funderia Condals is to create 300 new jobs in the next two years. The company is developing a factory, SK C Foundry, in Sturovo industrial park, after two unsuccessful attempts in East Slovakia.. The factory will make metal castings for automotive producers and its annual production is planned to be initially 5,000 tons of castings, with a view to increase it to 15,000 tons. According to a representative of Funderia output will begin in the second quarter of 2016.
Funderia Condals' main customer in Slovakia is Continental, based in Zvolen, but it also supplies Audi and BMW in Germany.
