European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Swedish electric car manufacturer, Nevs (National Electric Vehicle Sweden), is to hire 150 new workers at its site in Trollhättan.
A representative from the company's personnel department indicated that at least 85 percent of the new recruits will be engineers. The company is starting up operations again after having signed a cooperation agreement with one of China's largest vehicle manufacturers, Dongfeng. The company appears to have recovered from its previous restructuring less than a year ago, when 155 workers were dismissed.
