European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Firstsource have announced that 387 jobs are to be created at its call centre in Cardiff. The Indian-owned company already has one office in the Welsh capital and now plans to open a second centre there. Around 1,000 people are already employed by the company in the city. It is understood that 100 of the jobs have already been filled, though the time frame for filling all the positions is not yet known. The move follows an upturn in the fortunes of the company. Earlier in 2015 new jobs were unveiled at its sites in Sunderland and Middlesbrough.
