European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Italian electronics manufacturer Carel based in Padua will open a manufacturing site in Labin, Croatia providing 100 new jobs. Carel produces electronic products and instruments that are used for installation of control systems for heating and cooling as well as for systems that control energy savings. The Labin plant covers a total area of around 90,000 m2, of which 7,000 m2 are indoors. The first production line will start by the end of 2015 and will employ around 100 workers.
