European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Glasgow based travel company Barrhead Travel has announced plans to create 100 new jobs following rising demand for its services across multiple areas of the business including cruises and long haul. Over the previous year the company has opened new premises in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle, bringing the total of employees up to 850 across 56 UK premises. The new jobs will be located in Scotland. There are plans for new sites at, as yet, unspecified locations. The timetable for the new jobs has yet to be announced.
