The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Insurance broker Be Wiser has announced plans to expand its business with the opening of a new centre in Swindon, Wiltshire. The company which is headquartered in Andover, Hampshire expects to add 350 new jobs to its workforce, meaning that when the jobs are filled the company will employ over 1,000 people across its UK operations. The company has reportedly signed the lease for its new Swindon site and expects to open in approximately three months, when the office has been fitted. The company statement noted that it expects to start the recruitment process soon, though it anticipates that the 350 jobs will be added over a period of three years.
