Capital One, the financial company, is relocating its business to 'Silicon Roundabout' in east London and in the process it will create 200 new jobs. The new positions will be for software engineers. The location is so-called due to the high density of web-based jobs which are supported in the area, and a spokesperson for the company noted the advantages of being based in a location which attracts high quality job applicants. In addition to the new jobs, 50 existing London based staff will also be housed at the site. The new site will be operational from February 2017.
