European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
NGK Ceramics Poland, the Japanese producer of ceramics filters for diesel engines, has announced that it will create about 300 new jobs at its second facility in Dąbrowa Górnicza in the Katowice Special Economic Zone, Poland. The plant is expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2017, but the company has already started a recruitment process. The company plans to invest PLN 300 million (EUR 68.33 million USD 77.51 million). NGK Ceramics is mainly looking for production line operators, warehouse staff, IT and automatics specialists. All employees will undergo a special six months training at the first company’s factory in Dąbrowa Górnicza. Currently, NGK Ceramics employs over 3,000 people in Poland.
