Description
German Brose Company expands its business in Slovakia. The Company is to invest about €50 million to build a new factory Brose Prievidza where about 700-1,000 new jobs would be created. The government promised to provide state aid to the company to the amount of €12.5 million. According to the agent of Brose Prievidza, Axel Mallener, first 180-200 employees will work in administration, logistics and production in 2016. Car door components for Volkswagen group, including Audi, Porsche, Skoda and Seat, Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, Volvo, and Ford will be produced there until 2017. The second and third phases of the investment will be realised in 2017-2018. The full production capacity will be reached in 2019, when more than 700 workers will work in the new factory. The new investment is much appreciated in the region where the unemployment rate is more than 9%.
