European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
MS Mode, a Dutch chain of clothing stores has announced the dismissal of all of its 220 employees. The company was declared bankrupt earlier this year and has been looking for potential sellers ever since. Recently the management confirmed the dismissal of all 220 employees, both white and blue collar workers. They stated it was no longer acceptable to keep the personnel and their families uncertain about their future, therefore their dismissal was officially announced. The chain has about 40 stores in Belgium.
