European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
French owned company Thales has announced that it is to create 150 new jobs in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The company will manufacture new and more energy efficient electric engines for spacecraft. A new site has been opened by the astronaut Tim Peake and the company is looking to add these new jobs over a period of two years. When these new positions are added the company will employ around 350 staff. Invest NI are understood to have helped fund the development of the new site.
