The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Airline company Jet2 has announced that it is to create 200 new jobs based at Stansted Airport. The airport is the area's major employer and council representatives have welcomed the creation of these new jobs. Approximately half of the positions available will be for cabin crew and the remaining positions will be for pilots and various assorted ground crew roles. The company will be based at the airport from Spring 2017. Jet2 will start flights from Stansted on 30 March 2017 and will fly to 21 holiday destinations in the summer and 12 in the winter.
