The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
A new rehabilitation centre is due to open in Sheffield with the creation of 100 jobs. The STEPS facility will open in February 2017 and is recruiting medical staff at various levels and also catering staff. The centre will specialise in treatment for adults who have experienced trauma such as stroke or injury. The company is a private enterprise though it has been supported by some public money through the Regional Growth Fund. The centre will treat both private and public patients with their care being funded through the National Health Service, private insurance payments or individual compensation payouts.
