European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Romanian subsidiary of German car component manufacturer Preh has announced the creation of 100 new jobs by the end of 2017 at its factory in Ghimbav, east-central Romania. Established in 2008, the Ghimbav plant has an employee base of 1,000 people. Most of the open positions are for technicians and car component assemblers.
Preh Romania produces electrical and electronic car components for Audi, Porsche, BMW and Daimler. The company intends to invest 13 million euro in new production units in 2017 and it expects to reach a total workforce of 1,400 employees by the end of 2019.
