European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Amps Electric Bikes is a British company producing electric bicycles under the brand name Wisper. In July 2018, it opened a new facility in the Kent county where it already had its administrative offices. It the new plant the company will assembly the high-end electric bikes it earlier imported from China. The decision to relocate the final production phase in UK is - at least partially - the consequence of the recent decision of European Union to collect duties from importers of e-bikes. However, the company also aimed to to improve the product quality and make the production more effective.
