Description
Canadian airplane and train manufacturer Bombardier is to expand its train production in the Czech Republic and create about 200 new jobs during 2017. The company won for its Czech plant the significant French contract for railway vehicles.
Bombardier Transportation Czech Republic currently employs over 1,000 people and focuses on components for regional and suburban trains as well as for trams and metros.
Due to the shortage of welders in the market Bombardier builds a vocational welding school for retraining courses, which are organized in cooperation with the labour office, and for regular testing of its own employees.
