European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Webhelp, a customer services company specialising in business process outsourcing, has announced its intention to create 200 jobs in Porto by the end of 2017. Webhelp has been operating in Portugal since 2000 and has a staff of 800 between Lisbon and Porto, of which 150 are based in Porto. According to the director of the company, the new employees do not need to have any specific experience, but must have a good knowledge of the French language.
Webhelp is currently present in 27 countries and has about 35,000 employees.
