Description
Engineering company Actavo will create 150 new jobs after signing a five year contract with electricity supplier Scottish Power. The contract will begin in May 2017 and the jobs will be phased in over a period of a few months. Jobs are for field engineers who, from a base in Leicester, will install smart meters across the East Midlands and East of England. The meters will automatically feed information back to the energy supplier, meaning that there will be no further reliance on estimated billing.
