European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Norwegian producer of automotive components Kongsberg Automotive has announced that it will create at least 1,000 jobs at its new production facility in Brześć Kujawski. The company plans to invest about PLN 150 million (EUR 35.79 million USD 39.68 million), and the factory is expected to be operational in December 2017. The factory will specialise in the production of seat heating, ventilation and massage systems.
In Poland, the company has been operating for 16 years. Currently, the company employs around 1,200 people at its plant in Pruszków near Warszawa and about 60 in Koluszki near Łódź.
In 2016, Kongsberg Automotive announced a restructuring programme resulting in the creation of 250 jobs in the factory in Pruszków.
