Description
Valeo, a French car parts manufacturer, has announced to create up to 700 jobs in France in 2017. Valeos' CEO highlights the difficulties to find the 700 employees, the group needs to maintain 45% of the R&D expenses in France . There are only 30,000 engineers trained each year in France in comparison to 1.5 to 2 million in China. This difficulties are reducing the growth capacities of Valeo, warns its CEO.
Previous recruitment were recorded in France in 2012 in the framework of a global recruitment plan to hire 15,000 jobs worldwide. In 2011, Valeo has recruited 1,000 employees in France including 600 managers and engineers.
