European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
IKEA Centres, part of the global retail company IKEA Group, in a project in cooperation with Mutschler Outlet Holding AG and ROS Retail Outlet Shopping, are investing €88 million in a new outlet complex in Croatia. Around 400 jobs will be created as a result of the investment. The Designer Outlet Croatia complex, located next to an IKEA warehouse in Zagreb, Rugvica, will be run by ROS Retail Outlet Shopping, an Austrian designer outlet manager. The complex will provide shoppers with an assortment of fashion, sports and children’s brands.
Construction began in early spring 2017 and will be completed in two phases. The first phase will encompass some 15,000 square metres and is expected to be completed in spring 2018. The second phase will cover an area of 25,000 square metres and should be completed in the coming few years. Additional plans for the complex include a supermarket, a gas station and two fast food restaurants.
