European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The German family owned company Kärcher, which produces cleaning equipment and full cleaning systems, plans to employ about 100 workers at its new site Modletice near Prague. The site is scheduled to start operation in summer 2018.
The building with an investment of CZK 150 million (EUR 5.7 million), will also include a shop and showrooms. It will be connected to a logistics center for Central Europe.
Kärcher currently employs 70 workers in the Czech Republic.
The Kärcher production program includes high-pressure cleaners, vacuum cleaners, dry ice blasting machines, steam cleaners, sweeping and vacuuming machines.
Globally, Kärcher operates in 65 countries and employs 11,862 people.
