Description
As announced on 28 July 2017, the German paper manufacturer August Koehler will invest €500 million to boost the company’s growth, resulting in the addition of 100 new jobs within the next 2 years at its site in Kehl. Part of the investment is a new special paper machine which is expected to produce 100,000 tonnes of paper per year.
August Koehler is among the world’s leading paper manufacturers, producing 500,000 tonnes of paper each year, and plans to add recyclable paper-based packaging to its product line.
As of August 2017, August Koehler has 1,850 employees.
