Description
The taxi transport company Kovanen is hiring at least 100 new taxi drivers in Helsinki during autumn 2017. The company says the expansion is due to increasing demand that cannot be met with the current number of drivers. Kovanen continues with its established recruitment standard, where new employees are often hired from outside the sector.
Kovanen and two other Finnish taxi companies were bought by the Swedish Cabonline Group in June 2017, through which Cabonline became the largest taxi company on the Finnish market. Cabonline is expected to continue growing especially in 2018, as the new law deregulating taxi traffic will enter force.
