European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Outsourcing company Ventrica has opened new offices in Southend-on-Sea. The premises will house a new contact centre and will add 180 jobs over the next couple of years, where Ventrica will provide customer support for its clients. The new offices were officially opened by the leader of Southend Council and local politicians have welcomed the firm's decision to expand in the area. Ventrica is already one of the largest employers in the area and local councillors hope that more businesses will be encouraged to set up in the town.
