European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Austrian supermarket chain Billa is planning to launch 12 stores and create 300 new jobs in the Czech Republic in 2018. Billa invested approximately CZK 500 million (EUR 19,2 million) to open nine new stores and renovate ten stores in 2017.
According to company's annual report, the profit of the Austrian supermarket chain in Czech Republic rose by 30 percent to CZK 469 million (EUR 18,2 million) in 2016. Revenues grew by 6 percent to CZK 22,8 billion (EUR 886,6 million).
