European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ipse de Bruggen, which specialises in the care of people with developmental challenges or who have multiple disabilities, announced in November 2016 that it would cut 170 jobs in the course of 2017. A representative of the organisation stated that internal restructuring was necessary to reduce costs. Ipse de Bruggen operates across 390 locations in the Dutch province of Zuid-Holland, in West Netherlands. As of November 2016, Ipse de Bruggen employs 6,000 workers.
