European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Lectra group has announced the recruitement of 135 employees over two years in Cestas (Gironde). The company is specialised in the cutting of flexible materials (blade or laser), in the sectors of fashion-clothing, automotive and furniture. Lectra, which has 1,657 employees, generated sales of € 277.2 million in 2017, up + 8% in comparison to 2016.
'We will recruit more than 120 people for our research and development department in 2018 and 2019. Recruitment to which 15 new hires will be added in production this year', said the CEO of Lectra. The goal of the group is to raise the research and development budget to 10% of sales in 2018, compared to 9.6% last year.
