European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Japanese company Hitachi Consulting will open a centre of video intelligence in Lisbon, Portugal. The investment will lead to the recruitment of 100 specialised workers in the area of information systems (for consulting and management functions, with different levels of experience), being responsible for the development of software and specialised algorithms. The profiles sought are engineers, mathematicians and physicists. The centre will analyse images collected by different devices, also giving support to the regions of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Hitachi Consulting is in Portugal since 2006.
