Description
The Danish ambulance and paramedic company, Falck, has announced that 570 employees will be dismissed with effect from the end of September. The redundant employees include both part-time and full-time employees. 250 of the 570 employees are dismissed since Falck's contract on sitting patient transport with the Capitol Region runs out later this year and has not be renewed. According to Falck, it is mainly the competition in 'sitting patient transport' that has made it necessary for dismissing employees. Falck will in a near future start to outsource part of its patient transport activities.
