Description
At the beginning of April, the Commercial Court of Brest pronounced the liquidation of the Société d'isolation brestoise (SIB). The 124 employees were dismissed on 19 April. The job cuts affect several locations in Brittany including Brest, Rennes, Ploumagoar or Quéven. The main activity of the company was building asbestos removal. But the company lost its quality certification in December 2017 which resulted in contract losses. Employees criticised the poor management of the company affairs and think it led to its closure.
