European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Tesco Ireland has created 175 new jobs in Dublin, with the opening of its new store in Liffey Valley. The new store is the largest Tesco has in Ireland.
The majority of the new jobs have been given to the people living in the area.
The new store cost €30m to build and is part of an overall €70m investment. The company's goal is to keep th eposition of biggest grocery retailer in Ireland.
Tesco now employs over 13,000 people in Ireland.
