European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The two largest online travel agencies based in Greece (Airtickets and Travelplanet24), both belonging to the Tripsta group, officially announced on 28 June 2018 that the Group's operations will be significantly restructured within months due to financial problems.Initially, the company temporarily suspended the issuing of new airline tickets and announced the dismissal of the majority of employees in Greece According to the press reports from the total of 180 workers, 120 persons were dismissed during June 2018 and received severance compensation.
