Description
Recycling company Greenlight has entered administration which has resulted in the loss of all 109 jobs. The company which is based in Alexandria in West Dunbartonshire operated recycling services for a number of councils and was forced into administration following a large bill for unpaid taxes. Attempts to find a buyer to take over the business proved unsuccessful, which led to the redundancy notices being issued. The councils are urged by the GMB union and local politicians to bring the jobs in house.
