European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Arch Angelz, the beauty bar chain based in Swansea, has announced that it will close, having failed to find a buyer for the business. All 120 employees will be made redundant from the 31 sites at which the business operated. According to reports, the company began to experience financial difficulties earlier in 2018, at which point it attempted to find a buyer, but that was not forthcoming. The timescale for the job losses has yet to be announced, though the reports imply that the jobs will be lost before the end of 2018.
